The Ministry of Planning & International Cooperation has Always been Following up all UN agencies and INGOs to Submit their Annual Activity plans as well as their projects / Programmer implementation Activities in Puntland ,
In this point UNICEF has submitted and presented their project implementation in Puntland in close collaboration with the various line ministries of the Government and partner agencies. UNICEF has been supporting in the key priority areas such as
Social Sectors Priorities
- Child Survival (ACSD): Health, Nutrition, HIV/AIDS & Malaria
- Water, Sanitation, Hygiene
- Education
- Child Protection
- Social Policy, Monitoring & Evaluation
At concluding stage the Minister of Planning & International Cooperation raised that the UNCEF is a one of the most useful agencies Puntland.
Most of UNICEF projects are finished also all the Line-Ministries & Partner agencies are highly appreciated UNCEF operations in Puntland.
